Nana has a friend in Quilpie. We stayed in her yard. We had to get all the dust out of the van. All the clothes had to be washed. At night Nana talked to Margaret and I watched DVDs in the van.

Yesterday we went to the lake. We bought bread and had lunch there. I took lots of photos of emus. Men were working on the road. Nana used her radio to talk to the men. They told us to follow the grader. We said, Thanks mate when we got past.

On Friday we went to the Mothers Day party. All the children were there and playing so I joined in.
There were 2 classes and 30 children all together. There were some tea, food and punch.

On Saturday the horse races were on. There was free entry, food and drinks. Some children were playing so I joined in. The race track was dirt so the horses made a lot of dust. That night there was a movie on and a party for grown ups with music you could hear a block away.
